Home Builders: Building a Home of Sincere Faith

1. Start with Abiding Faith   John 15:4–5

  • You can’t pass on what you don’t have
  • Walk with Christ daily—real, personal, consistent

2. Be Intentional About Passing Faith On   Deuteronomy 6:5–7

  • Talk about God in everyday moments (meals, driving, bedtime)
  • Pray with your children, not just for them
  • Open the Bible together—keep it simple and consistent

3. Model Decisions Shaped by God’s Word   2 Timothy 3:14–15

  • Let your children see how Scripture guides your choices
  • Explain why obedience to God matters more than convenience
  • Show that God’s wisdom is better than the world’s

4. Share How God’s Word Is Changing You   2 Timothy 3:16–17

  • Tell your children what God is teaching you
  • Be honest about where you are growing—and where you need to grow
  • Let them see repentance and transformation up close
