God’s Blueprint for Home – Legacy

In Week 5 of our series, God’s Blueprint for Home, we explore Psalm 78:1–8 and the powerful theme of leaving a legacy of faith. Every believer has received a spiritual inheritance, and God calls us to live that faith faithfully and pass it on to the next generation.

Join us as we discover how a legacy of faith is received, lived, and shared so that future generations will put their trust in God and follow His ways.

What Legacy of Faith Will Your Leave?

Home Builders

Parents

  • Make conversations about God a normal part of everyday life.
  • Tell your children how you have seen God’s faithfulness in your own life.
  • Prioritize leaving a spiritual inheritance above a material inheritance.

Grandparents

  • Share stories of God’s faithfulness with the next generation.
  • Pray regularly and specifically for your children and grandchildren.
  • Use your influence to encourage faith, not merely success.

Children and Students

  • Listen to the wisdom of those who have walked with God before you.
  • Make your faith your own by trusting and following Christ.
  • Begin building a legacy worth passing on someday.

Every Believer

  • Live a faith worth imitating.
  • Look for someone to encourage, disciple, or invest in spiritually.
  • Remember that the legacy you leave is not what you leave to people, but what you leave in people.
