Student Ministry
At First Baptist Church Sylvania, our Student Ministry (7th–12th grade) is a bold, welcoming place where the Bible is taught clearly and Jesus is proclaimed as our hero. Through openly teaching God’s Word, small-group discipleship, and real-life mission, students are equipped to live out their faith with courage and purpose. Join us for friendship, truth, and a faith that changes lives. We start each Sunday morning off at 9:45 in the youth room with a “Bible Studies for Life” lesson and join the entire church body at 11 for worship.
Wednesdays
Midweek at First Baptist Church Sylvania is an evangelical, high‑energy highlight for our Student Ministry. Supper starts at 5:30 PM, and from 6:00–7:30 PM students engage in Bible study, focused prayer, high‑energy games, and intentional discipleship—small groups, one‑on‑one mentoring, and leadership development—packed with bold gospel teaching equips teens to follow Jesus with confidence and purpose.
