Life is a battlefield, and Satan is firing flaming arrows—fear, doubt, temptation, adversity—straight at us. But God hasn’t left us defenseless. In Ephesians 6:16, Paul tells us to “take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
This Sunday we’ll discover how real, everyday faith in God’s Person, His Promises, and His Providence gives us strength to stand firm when the enemy attacks. And just like the Roman soldiers who locked their shields together, we’ll see why we need each other in the fight.
